Enrichment Class Rules, Behavior, and Dress Standards

Enrichment Class Rules

Enrichment Class Rules and General Information To register for enrichment classes, every family must be an EAGLE member.

At least one person in every family MUST volunteer the day of classes before registering a child/children for classes. Volunteer signup will be taken care of on the day of class registration. Volunteers will be held accountable in their position.

Children must be potty trained to take classes.
Criminal Background Checks will be run on all volunteers.

All class fees should be paid on registration day by cash or check. If making payments, postdate checks with the dates posted at the registration table.

There will be no refunds for classes. We ask that you thoroughly investigate each class for any conflicts of interest before registering your child. Teachers are available for questions.

You know your child best. Please choose classes that you know they can do and participate in within his/her grade range. There will be no class registration past class registration day.

The enrichment class committee makes every effort to try to accommodate as many students as possible. Please do not go directly to a teacher asking them to make room for your child in his/her class.

Please do not bring any non-EAGLE members to any enrichment class unless approved by a member of the enrichment class committee.

No child/student should leave class early without a parent/guardian contacting the child’s/student’s teacher.
During class hours, all students should either be in their enrolled class or with other adult supervision. No student, including

teenagers, should roam the halls or parking lot or be unsupervised.
Parents should be on site
. We also need to know where you will be while on campus for each period. Your child may need you,

and we need to know how to find you.

There will be no public displays of affection.

Please no skateboards, roller blades, heelys, bikes, etc. in the building or parking lot.

Be respectful of the grounds/building. Clean up after yourselves, whether in class or elsewhere on the property. Leave No Trace!

Use of cell phones or other personal electronic devices is prohibited during class time.
Younger children need to be picked up from their classes and escorted to next class.
Parents of younger children, if you are in the classroom with your child, please help while you are in there.

Sick Policy: Do not come to class if you or your child is sick and contagious. Some indications of being contagious are a temperature of 100.4 degrees F or more (in the absence of fever reducers) within 24 hours of class time, vomiting or diarrhea within 24 hours of class time, unexplained rash that itches or is accompanied by a fever.

Nursery is for teachers/assistants only and only for the period that they are teaching/assisting.
If you sign up for the
cleanup crew Tom Harrington will be your contact person. His phone number is (662) 643-3399. You will
need to add him to your contact list in your phone so that you can let him know through text or phone call if you have to miss.

This Rienzi school building is a huge blessing to us, and we are very thankful for it. However, we are well aware that there are areas that need work, and the playground is one of those areas. You and your children are certainly welcome to use it, but please understand that it is “play at your own risk”.

Behavior and Dress Standards

EAGLE Homeschool Behavior and Dress Standards

(updated July 25, 2022)

Eagle leadership has developed these standards as guidelines for all Eagle members (students and parents) to follow during Eagle activities and events. These rules are not all-inclusive; it is virtually impossible to address every detail and aspect thereof since there are many different convictions concerning these topics. In instances where rules do not expressly state a given situation, “appropriate” dress will be at the discretion of the event organizer or the Eagle Board as necessary.

Anyone whose attire or behavior is detrimental to the Christian environment that Eagle is committed to maintaining will be asked to leave the event until attire or behavior is corrected.  Any fees paid for the event will be forfeited.

  1. As a matter of personal pride, Eagle members should maintain high standards of neatness and appropriateness of dress, appearance, and behavior.  Dress and conduct yourselves in a way that reflects Christ and honors Him.
  2. Shorts should not exceed 6 inches above the top of the knee and must not expose any undergarment. This 6-inch rule also applies to rips or cutouts in pants, etc.
  3. Tight/form fitting clothing (bicycle shorts, spandex, leggings, etc.) is inappropriate unless worn underneath a garment covering your bottom fully.
  4. Dresses and skirts should be appropriate for bending, stooping, sitting and working overhead and should also not exceed 6 inches above the top of the knee, including slits.
  5. Shirts should not show midriff while walking, standing, or sitting.  No blouse should be so low in the front or sides to expose any part of the breast or so low in the back to expose the shoulder blades. No muscle shirts, spaghetti straps or strapless tops. Basketball jerseys or other such transparent or sheer clothing need appropriate undergarments.
  6. Shoes are required. Do not wear cleats indoors.
  7. Clothing or jewelry/ornamentation that contains or depicts illegal drugs, alcohol, tobacco, profanity, violence, suggestive language, derogatory symbols, or negative ethnic remarks is inappropriate.
  8. Public displays of affection are not allowed at Eagle functions.
  9. No skateboards, roller blades, Heelys, bikes, etc., are allowed on campus.
  10. Use of, possession of, or transfer of tobacco products or e-cigarettes will not be permitted at Eagle functions.
  11. Students are not allowed to have firearms or weapons of any kind at Eagle functions.
