Our Philosophy

We believe that children are a heritage and a gift from God and should be raised in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. The principles found in God's Holy Scriptures should be foundational to any educational system or curriculum. We believe that at the core of all home education should be 1) to love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, soul, and mind, 2) to love thy neighbor as thyself.

We will teach our children to demonstrate a Christ-like love and a servant's heart toward all, regardless of position, income, race, background or outward appearance. Jesus wants us all to be His servants and serve others with a pure heart, treating them as we would want them to treat us. We will teach our children to find their worth and value in Christ alone, not in "externals" like expensive clothing, high salaries, degrees, titles, job position or any other labels. All that we are, all that we have, and all that we hope to become should be used to glorify and honor our Savior, Jesus Christ.

We believe our children should be challenged to reach their full potential mentally, spiritually, physically, and emotionally, understanding that the measure of a person is not in his physical strength or his academic achievements, but in his nobility and character. We will give our children every opportunity to succeed and become strong leaders in their homes, communities, states, nation, and world. We will teach our children that they are important, but that value, worth, and merit, has nothing to do with how much we possess--it has everything to do with who we are in Christ and what God says about us.

We will discipline in love, teaching them accountability and responsibility, first to God, then to the authorities set over them by God.
